Tom, As the working group explained it to me, the text that identifies this requirement will remain in the spec so that it is easy for a reader to understand the WSDL 2.0 requirements. The assertion ID will be removed as per the working group's policy that assertions highlight WSDL 2.0 requirements that are not enforced by schema validation. Doesn?t this make it easier for a user of the spec to understand the requirements? -- Tom Jordahl Adobe ColdFusion Team From: www-ws-desc-request@w3.org [mailto:www-ws-desc-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of Lawrence Mandel Sent: Friday, November 17, 2006 2:44 AM To: www-ws-desc@w3.org Subject: Suggested removal of 2 assertions I'd like to request that the following 2 assertions be removed from the WSDL 2.0 spec. as they are all handled by the WSDL 2.0 schema and schema validation. Endpoint-0065 For each Endpoint component in the endpoints property of a Service component, the name property MUST be unique. InterfaceFault-0032 For each Interface Fault component in the interface faults property of an Interface component, the name property must be unique.
