Many moons ago, you submitted a comment [1] to the Web Services Description Working Group which included the request for "a way to specify an authentication requirement" in the HTTP binding. We've been tracking this as an issue [2] since then. We're now polishing off the HTTP binding in preparation for Last Call. There is some disagreement about the scope of this requirement. Is it simply a way to indicate that https must be used, or is there more involved? We'd like some additional information on the specific use case you were envisioning to guide our discussions about the scope of solutions we should be considering.
