In UML cardinalities are defined for relations as a WHOLE, e.g. a
marriage is a relation males and females (not true in The Netherlands,
by the way), BOTH with a cardinaltiy of 0-1 (assuming we are modelling
the situation at one point in time). 
In Full OWL mainly one side of the relation and its associated
cardinality is modelled In OWL Lite it is more balanced (Single-valued +
UnAmbiguousProperty).
