>Jeremy - please identify which archive messages you'd like people to >focus on Likely points of discussion are found in three short messages and the last para of a longer one: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-webont-wg/2002Jul/0150.html 404 in http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-webont-wg/2002Jul/0305.html 404 & rdfcore/testSchema in http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-webont-wg/2002Jul/0319.html See last para in http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-webont-wg/2002Jul/0282.html ======= Following Jim's structure: >2) TEST issues (Jeremy) > >2.1 Setting up a test manifest > In: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-webont-wg/2002Jul/0316.html I proposed files like: http://www.w3.org/2002/03owlt/FunctionalProperty/Manifest.rdf The current version reflects proposals made by: Jos wanted a different URL for the OWL testOntology DanC wanted a different URL for the RDF test schema DanC seems to prefer no 404s and I made a further change to the URIs of the tests themselves to reflect that. I'll send a further message with diffs showing these changes. >2.2 Kinds of tests > In http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-webont-wg/2002Jul/0101.html section 4: Test types I listed 4.1 Entailment test 4.2 Illegal document test. 4.3 Consistency test as a non-exhaustive list. Dan expressed doubt about the utility of consistency tests, I suggested lazy evaluation on the list of test types. The most substantive issue raised in the list was about Don't know answers and incomplete reasoners ... e.g. see: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-webont-wg/2002Jul/0150.html Other issues: Dan has expressed a preference that the only URLs that 404 should be ones in the example.* domains. Contrast the test: http://www.w3.org/2002/03owlt/FunctionalProperty/premises001.rdf http://www.w3.org/2002/03owlt/FunctionalProperty/conclusions001.rdf with http://www.w3.org/2002/03owlt/InverseFunctionalProperty/premises001.rdf http://www.w3.org/2002/03owlt/InverseFunctionalProperty/conclusions001.rdf The latter uses http URLs that 404, the former doesn't. Jeremy has expressed a preference for no N3 in the deliverables. There has been discussion to do with organisation of test repository. + What is the role of the test web site? + What is the test deliverable? + How does that relate to the web site? >2.3 actions on people to submit info on systems/tests > ACTION jjc To update test cases and manifest files in: FunctionalProperty InverseFunctionalProperty I4.1 I3.4 qualified-cardinality-constraints in the light of the discussion/decisions at this telecon. others I guess ...
