Comment from the i18n review of: http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-pronunciation-lexicon-20060131/ Comment 34 At http://www.w3.org/International/reviews/0603-pls10/ Editorial/substantive: E Owner: RI Location in reviewed document: 5.5 example Comment: Shouldn't the second 'refuse' be pronounced with a short e and a non-lengthened u and final z? (Note also that the comment issuperfluous.) There are other instances where the phonemic transcription seems strange (eg. use of 'e'). Please have them checked byphoneticians who are familiar with the languages.
