Hello, A long time ago I remember being able to issue a command to a WEB server that would return some interesting info about it like what type of server it was and what version WWW it was running. I cannot recall what the command was or how to issue that command. I would also like to retrieve info from the proxies the request passes thru. I think I can do this with the VIA extension to HTTP 1.1 but again, I don't have a clue how to do it. Can someone either point me at a web site that would have this info or provide me with an example. Thanks in advance...
