Can you direct me to the WWW page that summarizes precipitation data for
US cities?  Say if I'm interested precipitation data for Oakland for the
last six month that look like this:

Oakland

Jan 15:   2 inches
Jan 16:   1 inch

Feb 24:   2 inches
    .
    .
    .

May 10:   .5 inch

What WWW page can I go?  I searched through various National Weather
Service pages and also data offered by Universities but could not find
past precipitation data.  Your help will be greatly appreciated.
