I have: ACTION-657: on - Noah Mendelsohn - Schedule telcon discussion of possible XML/HTML Unification next steps - Due: 2012-01-27 - OPEN I can certainly do this, but I have the impression that we wanted in part to see whether the publication [1] of the Task Force report [2] would get us any more input from a wider community than we had reviewing the unpublished drafts. If so, we should wait at least a few weeks. That said, I think another factor in setting the due date was to get the benefit of any insights garnered from the XML Prague 2012 conference [3], which happened a few weeks ago. So: what's your preference? Should I schedule this for telcon discussion ASAP, or defer a bit longer? Either way, I think it would be useful to have some substantive discussion in e-mail first. For now, I'll bump the due date on my action a few days to allow for responses to this e-mail. Also: I'm not yet convinced we have enough together to merit a F2F slot, but I'd certainly be sympathetic if anyone felt it was worth the trouble to help guide the group toward that in the coming month. Thank you. Noah [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-tag/2012Feb/0085.html [2] http://www.w3.org/TR/2012/NOTE-html-xml-tf-report-20120209/ [3] http://www.xmlprague.cz/2012/index.html
