On 15 December 2011 I took ACTION-641: on - Noah Mendelsohn Try and find list of review issues relating to HTML5 from earlier discussions This was originally in the context of a discussion of possible TAG involvement in planning for so-called HTML.next, but it's also potentially pertinent to our discussion of HTML/XML Unification at the January 2012 F2F [1]. On 21 December I sent [2], which is a pointer to the agenda [3] that T.V. Raman prepared for the Sept. 2008 meeting, at which much of the TAG's work on (what became) HTML5 was kicked off. I left ACTION-641 open with the intention of trying to find further records of our more recent and more detailed issues list. This e-mail is to provide you with the additional information that I found: The two most useful references I discovered were the HTML section of our Feb. 2010 status report [4], which gives a nice summary of the "big picture issues" we had decided to track. That in turn links to [5], which is a .pdf rendering of a table we had prepared at our Sept. 2009 meeting, with a much more detailed list off potential issues. I think [4] is probably the record we need to understand what was considered in the last round of priority setting. Many other bits of TAG work relating to HTML5 issues can be found by searching the list of closed TAG actions [6] for the string "HTML". I believe this fulfills ACTION-641, which I'm marking PENDING REVIEW. Thank you.
