Hi everyone, This letter to genuinely suggest that the ::wrap pseudo element be formally adopted. Please find its information in the following url address. https://wiki.csswg.org/ideas/pseudo-elements#complex-wrapping-of-selector-range There are too many use cases of description list (
) nowadays. However, it has long been a headache of mine that there is no wrapper element for wrapping
and
pairs. Therefore I have had no choice but to resort to JavaScript to insert

into
. Please. Could we have the aforementioned ::wrap pseudo element be formally adopted? With ::wrap pseudo element, web developers no longer have to resort to JavaScript see the unwanted FOUC (Flash of Unstyled Content) appears. And users with JavaScript disabled can also see the intended style of the content. Personally, I really see no reason why this pseudo element should not be adopted today. Please feel free to express your opinions. Sincerely, Ian Yang | Front-end Web DeveloperReceived on Wednesday, 28 September 2016 14:29:34 UTC
