Re: [css-grid] [css-align] Grid is now CR, but what about css-align?

If (at least) two major implementers are going ahead with implementing a
clearly defined subset of the CSS Box Alignment spec, would it not make
sense to split that spec into two levels, and accelerate the first level
towards CR?
