The CSS WG has published an updated Working Draft of the CSS Box Alignment Module Level 3: https://www.w3.org/TR/css-align-3/ This module defines new features relating to the alignment of boxes within their containers in the various CSS box layout models: block layout, table layout, flex layout, and grid layout. This draft includes a slew of relatively minor tweaks and bugfixes, plus a change in the default "safety" of overflow handling. Other significant changes are listed at: https://www.w3.org/TR/2014/WD-css-align-3-20141218/#changes Overall this draft is stabilizing, though it needs a) more pictures b) more review wrt baselines (particularly comparison with 2.1 to make sure we didn't regress anything) c) general review for sanity and goodness in all respects Your help in these matters would be greatly appreciated. :) Please send any comments to this mailing list, <www-style@w3.org>, prefixed with [css-align] (as I did on this message) or file them in the GitHub repository at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues For the CSS WG, ~fantasai
