That contradicts with the spec for 'left' and 'right' here:
https://drafts.csswg.org/css-align/#typedef-content-position
which says they *compute* to 'start' depending on other properties.
So I think you need to replace "computes to" to "behaves as" there.
(that would be good for all the properties they can appear in)

BTW, is the term "behaves as" normatively defined somewhere?
It seems rather vague to me.
