Newer systems provide a choice between Liberation Sans v1.0 and Liberation 
Sans v2.0. Apparently there's some significant difference between them. IOW, 
I don't think the word "the" can be appropriate when discussing Liberation 
Sans. Comparing the two on a given system could be problematic.
