Hi everyone, I just stumbled on the working draft for Compositing and Blending 1.0: http://www.w3.org/TR/2012/WD-compositing-20120816/ And I noticed that the simple "add" ("linear dodge" in Photoshop) and "subtract" ("linear burn") blend modes aren't included. I'm super interested in seeing both of these adopted because they offer lots of bang for the buck and would make lots of interesting effects possible without the use of canvas and per-pixel operations or WebGL pixel shaders. I'm happy to offer assistance with editing the WD to get these included, and/or to debate the merits of their inclusion. Thoughts? -- Shawn Allen shawn@stamen.com +1 415 558 1610
