The CSS3 generated content module [1] hasn't been updated in what appears to be nearly 10 years. It contains a much more sophisticated version of generated content that as far as I can tell no one ever implemented [2]. Should anyone be trying to implement this stuff? Should it be considered abandoned? If not can get a get a big red banner saying that the spec is dead? [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-content/ [2] Opera does seem to allow content to replace the inside of a random element, but not nesting and such. - E
