Wouldn't a better solution simply be to deprecate the "bolder" and "lighter" values? Maybe someone already proposed that? What was the thought then? Seems like there is a good chance that UA's will not support them properly, and people are not using them because of a somewhat erratic result anyway, right!? Just a thought.
