":last-letter" is totally useless since there are no special effects for last 
paragraph letter in traditional typography (like for first letter). You can 
apply subclass for last letters manually if it is necessary, but I think 
there are no such needs.

As for cases where last and first letters are constant for all class 
occurrences (for example, you need to place big quotation marks with every 
citation block) you can achieve special effects with ":before" / ":after" 
pseudo-classes and "content" attribute.
