In section 3.3.2, paper sizes may be specified by dimensions or by two key words "A4" and "letter." I would suggest that this document use and reference the PWG Standard 5101.1-2001 entitled "Media Standardized Names" available from ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/standards/pwg5101.1.pdf I am not suggesting that all the media sizes listed there be allowed but that those required to be allowed be drawn from that standard's list and any extensions be compliant with that standard. ********************************************** Don Wright don@lexmark.com Chair, IEEE SA Standards Board Member, IEEE-ISTO Board of Directors f.wright@ieee.org / f.wright@computer.org Director, Alliances & Standards Lexmark International 740 New Circle Rd Lexington, Ky 40550 859-825-4808 (phone) 603-963-8352 (fax) ********************************************** ---------------------- Forwarded by Don Wright/Lex/Lexmark on 01/30/2004 12:41 PM --------------------------- "BIGELOW,JIM (HP-Boise,ex1)" <jim.bigelow@hp.com> on 12/18/2003 05:45:27 PM To: don@lexmark.com, elliott.bradshaw@zoran.com, Lee.Farrell@cda.canon.com cc: Subject: FW: [css-page] New, last draft of CSS3 Paged Media Module Hello, The latest draft of the W3C's CSS3 Paged Media (see the announcement below) contains a section on image-orientation that is based on the discussions at the PWG. The next step after that should is a W3C Candidate Recommendation (unless the comments uncover problems). Please send comments to this mailing list. To help the working group find them, please prefix any message with "[css3-page]", as in the subject line of this message.
