I question 'colspan' and 'rowspan' in addition to 'span', for much the
same reason... Those are not just presentational hints; they care
semantic information about the structure of tabular data. For example,
a <th> with a colspan clearly applies to both of the columns it spans...
Thus, e.g. if either column is copied froom the table the <th> should
come with it (imo).
