Hi, The list-item-color property Name: list-item-color Value: <color> | inherit | attr(X,color) Initial: depends on user agent Applies to: elements with 'display: list-item' Inherited: yes Percentages: N/A Media: visual Computed value: specified value (except for 'inherit') This property sets the color that will be used for the list item marker. Rationale: It is currently not possible to control the color of list item markers in CSS, you only have control over the overall list item color, i.e. the list item marker and the list item text. It is only possible to define some image in place of some predefined marker. The list-style-type however already allows very rich markers and some of them aren't expressable through images, e.g. all of them that are autogenerated by some counter. I therefore propose a new property, that enables authors to control the color of the list item. regards, -- Björn Höhrmann { mailto:bjoern@hoehrmann.de } http://www.bjoernsworld.de am Badedeich 7 } Telefon: +49(0)4667/981028 { http://bjoern.hoehrmann.de 25899 Dagebüll { PGP Pub.
