The effect you are describing should not happen. There is probably something else going on. However, it is not really an appropriate question for this forum. A better one would be the newsgroup comp.infosystems.www.authoring.stylesheets . If you ask the question there and *post a url* where you have the problem, you are likely to receive help (possibly from me :-). It could be a browser issue, so you may want to mention what browser you are using. David Baron
