Once upon a time Chris Lilley shaped the electrons to say... >For example, one suggestion (made on accessibility grounds) is to not allow >!important in author stylesheets. Or, to have a !essential or somesuch >which was only allowed in reader stylesheets. I have never liked the implication that the page author can override the user's settings with !important. I feel very strongly that the system should alloe the individual the final say. Or else some egoist designer is going to write a book telling everyone how they should make all of their rules !important to force the reader to see it the way *they* want it. -MZ -- Livingston Enterprises - Chair, Department of Interstitial Affairs Phone: 800-458-9966 510-737-2100 FAX: 510-737-2110 megazone@livingston.com For support requests: support@livingston.com <http://www.livingston.com/> Snail mail: 4464 Willow Road, Pleasanton, CA 94588
