I'll make this short. Like the subject says, the idea of your organisation endorsing 'standards' that are not free for all to use is terrible. It's a contradiction of some of the earliest ideals of the WWW, ideals I thought your group held dear. Thanks to this, the way to a 'publicly endorsed' proprietary internet is paved. You've betrayed us all. Richard
