NO Patents

Dear Patent Policy,

    I have vision of the W3C making legitment what Rambus did to the 
memory stanards. I can see a world where, by way of patent, that content 
and free speach will be taxed. When that time comes, and the hayday is 
over, we'll all remember the W3C did nothing to help. In fact, they had 
transparently, and willingly, been the pawns creating this outcome.

   It is hard to think that big bisiness will lose with their long 
range, and well planned attack on standards. They have worked at least 
as hard, and will as much dedication of any of those that attacked the 
Word Trade Center. At least trerrorist only want us dead. The companies 
which seem to be pulling your strings want us to live forever as a slave 
class. But, worse than them is the W3C acting as pawns of those who 
would tax every word I know type.

    I hope you see clearly, that the W3C will be ignored if it ignores 
the web. The web was create in spite of these corperations who own these 
patents. Like the intrnet protocol we'll just route around the damage, 
the W3C, and make our better standards.

    So, as you can see I vote for NO PATENTS in standards, and I often 
vote with my feet.
