Yikes!

Please reconsider this policy!

I don't believe it either help with the "spirit" of the web, nor 
will it  significantly aid the long term viability and dynamic 
nature of it.

It is not in the best interest of any large corporation to
have an open playing field, and open playing fields are
what keeps innovation and creativity (and the ISV or 
developer or small company) going.
Standards are fine and necessary, but fee based
standards are anathema.
