Advice to lengthen the time to respond to the RAND licencing issue

Herewith, in the light of the many reactions which already poured in in a
couple of hours, I strongly urge the W3C that the time to respond for people
to this issue is lengthened to at least october 15th. So as to give everybody
the time to reflect on the current issues and to guarantee the continued
credibility of the W3C.

This is a grave issue and shouldn't be dealt with after only one day of
extended publicity.

Sincerely,
