Hello everybody: I would like to get some feedback from the internationalization community on the following. An URI scheme (web address) is in the making for telephony. One of the ideas is that you could click somewhere on a web page and would get a telephone connection. In that context, one of the problems is the name of the scheme. The main proposals on the table are tel: and phone:. I would like to find out which one is better from an i18n viewpoint. In what languages "phone" is understood? In what languages "tel" is considered ambiguous? Any other comments? Looking forward to a lot of feedback, Martin.
