Opera thinks that this draft introduces important features, recognising the changing landscape of the web on devices. Forms, script and events allows us to use scripts, while recognising that these should not be relied on or heavily used in XHTML-Basic sites. This is an improvement making it realistic to try to make sites like opera.com meet mobile best practices, since it brings those into line with the modern world. We also feel that the target attribute and inputmode are useful (in the same way that Webforms 2 is useful), making it easier to make sites that work better. cheers Chaals -- Charles McCathieNevile, Opera Software: Standards Group hablo español - je parle français - jeg lærer norsk chaals@opera.com Try Opera 9 now! http://opera.com
