-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Pardon me if I have submitted this to the wrong list, but I didn't know where it should go. I would like to see user-definble scheme names. This would allow me, for instance, to type: finger://laniel+@andrew.cmu.edu Within the browser, there would be a section where one could define which application runs for which scheme. This would make scheme naming more flexible than it currently is, and would make the browser the central Internet tool. One could define additional scheme names for domain name lookup, as in: nslookup://andrew.cmu.edu One problem I see lies in Internet tools that require additional switches (like finger -l). Does this sound feasible? Have I submitted it to the correct list? Thanks. --Steve Stephen R.
