Neither of those were points I was contending. I expected it to get posted directly to the list; sorry it didn't. Dunno what the click-thru license was about. Sunava owns fixing. I asked specifically why a PROPRIETARY format copy of the document was being requested (by Art). I'd expect HTML, personally, not plaintext; I don't quite understand why we can't at least agree on HTML4.01 as a basic document interchange format. > -----Original Message----- > From: Michael(tm) Smith [mailto:mike@w3.org] > Sent: Friday, June 13, 2008 10:01 AM > To: Chris Wilson > Cc: Arthur Barstow; Sunava Dutta; Michael Champion; Rigo Wenning; > Charles McCathieNevile; Doug Schepers; www-archive@w3.org > Subject: Re: URGENT: Need PDF of MS' input [Was Re: Seeking earlier > feedback from MS] > > Chris, > > To put it very simply what we have all have preferred from the > beginning is for the comments to be posted *directly to the list* > in PLAIN TEXT the way we have handled the rest of the > communication around this. > > Is there some reason you guys can't manage to find a way to do that? > > --Mike > > Chris Wilson <Chris.Wilson@microsoft.com>, 2008-06-13 09:56 -0700: > > > Out of curiousity, why would you want a proprietary-format copy of > the paper? > > > > From: Arthur Barstow [mailto:art.barstow@nokia.com] > > Sent: Friday, June 13, 2008 3:58 AM > > To: Sunava Dutta; Michael Champion; Chris Wilson > > Cc: Rigo Wenning; Charles McCathieNevile; Doug Schepers; Mike Smith; > www-archive@w3.org > > Subject: URGENT: Need PDF of MS' input [Was Re: Seeking earlier > feedback from MS] > > Importance: High > > > > All - please address this request ASAP i.e. today. > > > > This input is already overdue by one week and the f2f meeting is only > two weeks away. > > > > -Regards, Art Barstow > > > > > > Begin forwarded message: > > > > > > From: "ext Rigo Wenning" <rigo@w3.org<mailto:rigo@w3.org>> > > Date: June 12, 2008 5:06:01 PM EDT > > To: <public-webapps@w3.org<mailto:public-webapps@w3.org>> > > Cc: "Barstow Art (Nokia-OCTO/Boston)" > <art.barstow@nokia.com<mailto:art.barstow@nokia.com>>, > <sunavad@windows.microsoft.com<mailto:sunavad@windows.microsoft.com>>, > <Michael.Champion@microsoft.com<mailto:Michael.Champion@microsoft.com>> > > Subject: Re: Need PDF of MS' input [Was Re: Seeking earlier feedback > from MS] > > > > Dear all, > > > > I've looked at the click-through license of the Microsoft Public > > License.
