Yes, Amaya takes into account the content of the page to calculate the
page height and not absolute positioned boxes as they are out of the
current flow (boxes are not included in parent boxes). As I mentioned
taking into account positioned boxes is too complex to implement in our
editor context. This is easier to implement for a browser as the
calculation can be done in different steps.

My suggestion was just to help you to edit in the formatted view without
CSS presentation as the CSS rules display the text outside the window.

You may use the structure view. Views are synchronized and Amaya
commands apply on the formatted view as on the structure view.
