Re: Checking text on image colour contrast compliance (when a colour gradient is applied)

My team uses TPGi's Colour Contrast Analyser as well. The eyedropper
feature is a critically useful part of that tool, since gradients and
filters can really shift a CSS-set color to a vastly different color. The
one drawback I have found with CCA's eyedropper is that it can be difficult
to get an accurate reading with small/thin elements. The magnification
aspect of the eyedropper tends to give a pixel-by-pixel view of the
element, including any edge blur, resulting in a bunch of different colors
to choose from. Increasing the zoom in my browser usually helps with that.
