I'm trying to figure out how bad an autocomplete behavior of a particular search solution might be for sighted users. In this solution as one types search results appear, but the search results are films/tv episodes, it is on a black background and when things are being requested to update the page the page has a white overlay while resources being requested before being rendered. Each character you type produces a search so if you do not type very fast you could basically end up getting some things rendering between each character. I find it sort of annoying for me because as I am typing if I am typing just the right speed th page flashes sort of white black white before things start to render so I wondered first off if there would be people with epilepsy or other issues that would find this behaviour disconcerting. To see what it looks like try here https://play.tv2.dk/forside and search for perhaps 'det', but type relatively slowly (although not actually sure what the behavior will be outside Danmark so sorry if it just says you can't see) So anyway, when I try to find some data on this kind of autocomplete and accessibility there is a lot of noise in the results, so if anyone has any studies on this kind of thing I would like to see it. Thanks, Bryan Rasmussen
