Caveat: it may be that I misinterpreted what Microsoft have said about 
spacing/margin - I'm only going by that email, the fact that it 
referenced recent versions of Office, and what actually happens in 
Office 2013 when switching between mouse/touch optimized interface (i.e. 
it adds padding to the target size, not spacing *around* the target 
size). Maybe Alex Li can clarify this further.
