RE: new coga SC #31 ready to be submitted

Ø  [Jason] This proposal isn’t clear to me. A definition of “consistent cue” might help, but, upon reading this proposal, it’s far from evident what it requires beyond the provision we already make in WCAG 2.0, SC 3.2.4.
It’s my guess that it extends SC 3.2.4 to things beyond “components”  to patterns like error messaging, etc.  Having a consistent method of error identification across a set of pages is example of things that isn’t clearly covered under SC 3.2.4 that could be covered here (in my opinion).

I believe that this SC is clear enough to be added to 2.1 but welcome any comments or suggestions

If we need a new success criterion, it needs to be very clear how it differs from those which are already in place. By contrast, 3.2.4 is much clearer and easier to understand.
