[Jason] That solves the problem, and it also allows for the case in which a user preference is received by the web application (e.g., via the anticipated Media Queries extension mechanism). In practice, if the user has an abiding preference, I suspect they would specify it at the operating system level instead, but covering all the legitimate cases is a good practice in writing an SC.
