With all the exceptions and push back on the touch target size, this concern will not be addressed.

+1 to the CfC. Mark Hakkinen and I have discussed this, noting the relationship with the issue of target size. People with dexterity difficulties are more likely to move outside the target before successfully invoking the up event. We need to be sure that such cases are addressed appropriately, whether in the combination of success criteria integrated into WCAG 2.1 or at the user agent level.

On todays call the WG came to a resolution and accepted the proposed SC 'Accidental Activation'. [1]

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this decision, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.
