Lisa: If techniques are examples for implementation of a checkpoint, and does not include all scenarios - then people can have fulfilled the checkpoint without confirming to any documented technique. Roberto C: The solution may be the one Tom proposed: we could make techniques not normative, and provide a "not-too-heavy" skeleton model of a QA process for technique development instead.
