I have suggested that professional graphics designers be invited to compete to create graphical interpretations of the work done by w3c, on a pro bono basis. This was rejected, although I believe there is some interest, and have offered to raise interest amongst web designers in the UK. Your excuses of workload, both on and offline fall rather flat.
