Folks, Sorry to interrupt the deeper discussions, but I'm terribly confused as to what SVG is? Is is software that exists? is in beta version? is in the planning stage? and what exactly is it? A format for graphics? A graphic editing program? Graphic creation software? If is a format, what graphics programs support it, or how do you convert what you have to this format? If it's a program, what are the features that make it's products more accessible than those done by standard graphics software? What prompted my long festering question tonight, was a reference in an exchange between Charlie and Gregg in which is was said that "line art" needed to be done in SVG. If by "line art", you mean the row of pebbles that separates sections on my personal web pages, how will SVG do it "better"? Anne Anne L.
