Although there's no space for "issues" discussion in the agenda I hope that time can be found to address our efforts to further the notion that Web accessibility is not some separate/isolatable undertaking. One reason for the widespread misconception that Accessibility is a reluctantly added feature of Web materials is our continued acceptance of the basically malevolent marginalization afforded PWD. By somehow projecting the attitude that this is not socially/morally (or legally!) acceptable we might further the (so far only a dream of) inclusion and attend even more to the How of Web Accessibility rather than the Whether of it. The tacit slogan might be "Web Accessibility is not optional, it's integral." Love.
