Thanks for the reminder!

The addon at https://github.com/evbacher/gd2md-html/wiki may be helpful in
converting Google Docs into Markdown suitable to upload to Github. If you
don't like addons, the File|Download|Plain Text export is good except that
you need to fix headings yourself.
