A correction --- it seems the wikidata entity for 'communication medium' has been changed and so all I can seem to find in wikidata now for 'communication medium' is this: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q10461162 which is now oddly a subclass of bamboo and wooden slips in Imperial China and who knows why this exists now. you can now search for: 'media' or 'communication' or many other terms and get similar results.
