Probably a naive question caused by insomnia... Wondered about (1) inclusion without inheriting in-scope namespaces, and (2), given that, the possibility of _in situ_ inclusion. Probably too late for Web services, but the pattern of an XML "envelope" and supposedly unrelated "payload" as deployed today cannot isolate the payload from namespace bindings in the envelope (except with XML 1.1 and namespaces 1.1 of course). -- Liam Quin - XML Activity Lead, W3C, http://www.w3.org/People/Quin/ Pictures from old books: http://fromoldbooks.org/
