oneM2M architecture is quite different from what ETSI had before. oneM2M has advanced a lot in terms of work items like semantics, OMA LwM2M based management etc. Before proposing the set of standards in August 2014, oneM2M studied not only ETSI M2M model but also TIA, ATIS, CCSA etc. Have a look on the attached doc. I think given the time frame we have, we should consider joint discussions with oneM2M.
