Re: Resigning from chair

Hi all,

I’m going to formally remain chair at most up to 2024-04-22 in order to give the group a reasonable time window to elect a new chair.
Within this time window I will be more than happy to assist the new chair(s) in taking over, ensuring as smooth a transition as possible.
Should I still be chair on 2024-04-22 I will get in touch with W3C staff and ask to be removed as such.

Obviously I will not be editing anymore. As I’ve already stated, however, I have merged all open PRs into my fork and done some much needed grunt work (mostly headings and the ToC), if only for the satisfaction of seeing what a potential new ED would look like. It’s all in there and, IMHO, it’s pretty good. You are all very welcome to use it in any way you want, provided that the commit history is maintained.

I will not be keeping as close an eye on this list and on the repository as I’ve done so far, though I am always happy to lend a hand; feel free to get in touch with me directly at any point, for any reason.
