Hello working group, Just a few quick updates... In the past two weeks, the Google Compression team has improved the Brotli compression ratio by another 2.8%! The total corpus size using transforms is now 51482688 bytes compared to the 52967496 from two weeks ago. The process for open-sourcing Brotli is underway. While the team is targeting having the project published by our meeting in Amsterdam, we are gated on a few more high-level approvers. Stay tuned! Once published, we would be able to gather WOFF 1.0 vs. WOFF 2.0 (w/ Brotli) numbers across the large font collections, as we all collaborated on earlier with LZMA. More updates coming next week. Thank you!
