https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=25038 Bug ID: 25038 Summary: [Shadow]: Non-normative text about selection should be removed Product: WebAppsWG Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Component Model Assignee: dglazkov@chromium.org Reporter: rniwa@webkit.org QA Contact: public-webapps-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-webapps@w3.org Blocks: 14978 I don't think we should leave something as important as selection behavior completely undefined. On the other hand, the selection behavior is currently underspec'ed and defining the selection's behavior in general is outside the scope of the shadow DOM specification. However, the non-normative text that follows "here's one possible, admittedly naive way" is actively harmful since it's contradicting the discussion following http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapps/2013OctDec/0106.html -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
