Now that the WebSocket API spec is in the Candidate Recommendation state, the WG must create a test suite for the spec to advance to Recommendation. Microsoft and Ms2ger submitted some tests: http://w3c-test.org/webapps/WebSockets/tests/ Does anyone have a general (or specific) idea of the level of coverage these tests provide? Is anyone willing to be the Test Facilitator for this spec? -AB -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Call for Implementations: WebSocket API Resent-Date: Thu, 8 Dec 2011 19:51:46 +0000 Resent-From: <public-webapps@w3.org> Date: Thu, 8 Dec 2011 14:51:03 -0500 From: ext Arthur Barstow <art.barstow@nokia.com> To: public-webapps <public-webapps@w3.org> The WebSocket API is now a Candidate Recommendation and as such, a Call for Implementations was made [CfI]: http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/CR-websockets-20111208/ The root of the test suite for this spec follows. Currently, the test suite consists of submissions from Microsoft and Ms2Ger but none of the tests have been approved. http://w3c-test.org/webapps/WebSockets/tests/ Separately, on public-webapps-testsuite [p-w-t], I will start a thread re this test suite, e.g. status, plans for approving the submitted tests, call for Test Facilitator, etc. -AB [CfI] http://www.w3.org/News/2011#entry-9287 [p-w-t] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapps-testsuite/
